Realtor Reviews and World of Mouth
Realtors are being ranked, graded, reviewed and judged online. Most of the agents in my classes last week had no idea sites like the ones detailed in the video below existed and consumers were providing reviews of their experiences with the agents that they have worked with. However, I would be willing to bet some of our Tech Savvy Agent have seen these sites before!
Check out Steve go on a Sunday afternoon rant and describe our ever evolving industry and how technology and social media is changing the game. Nothing is sacred anymore…. all info is fair game, positive or negative. What are people saying about you???
Word of mouth……nope, world of mouth.

A great video. A tip to agents, manage your online reputation! Get your satisfied clients to write reviews of/for you on the websites Chris mentions. Happy clients will be more than happy to do this for you. Then you use this by showing sellers in your listing presentations as a huge differentiation between you and all the other agents that have never seen this video!
I like your thinking, Scott. Use these sites to help your clients spread the word about you. If you are doing your job well, most reviews should be positive, right?
Scott is right on the money! We are going to keep an eye on the most popular agent ranking sites so you know the ones to tell your clients to post too. Also make sure you check out our Google alerts post if you haven’t already to find out when and what people are posting about you.
Hey…Great information! I will definitely be aware of the realtor rating sites from now on!!All the best,Kieran
It comes down to shattering customer service expectations and then giving clients a venue to express their gratitude-its how the World of Mouth works.I agree about managing your online repuatation-it will be be out there whether you take responsibility for it or not. Great opportunity.
Great video clip and advice. I do feel overwhelmed with the number of these sites, and which ones to send clients to in order to put positive comments. I have also heard horror stories of good agents being slandered unfairly on some of these sites.
