The Real Story Behind Top Producer’s New Mobile App

Do you want the inside info to Top Producer’s new mobile application?  Do you want to see if it will easily fit into your lifestyle and daily activities? Want to see what’s missing from the application and learn what’s coming down the pipeline?  I helped in the development of this product when it was just an idea and can give you an insiders view of this cutting edge app that you won’t get anywhere else.

Am I biased, yup. Is it perfect, nope. Do I love it, absolutely. It is a giant step in the right direction in the creation of something special and unique.

This ain’t yo Momma’s Top Producer!

  1. Will the mobile version automatically sync with the main or desktop one?
Also I notice that not all of my contacts are on the new mobile version. At what point should I stop the TP81 app on my IPhone which I pay for monthly?
THanks for all the info. I am a TP user for many years and thank my success to this program.

Yes, it pulls from the same database automatically. All of your contacts should be on the mobile version. Customer service at (800) 444-8570 can take care of your other bill for you :-)

  3. I’d been invited to Beta-test the mobile app but didn’t get my Droid until last week. So, I’ve been using this for nearly two weeks, and it is amazing. I’m still learning all the pieces (the pipeline didn’t quite make sense until someone signed up for Market Snapshot on my website and, presto, there he is in my pipeline!). Having instantaneous sync with my 8i desktop is amazing — no more waiting for 28 packages to download when I import a database. I’ve used Top Producer since 4.1, and have grumbled along the way as I wished it would do something it couldn’t. But this version may save my sanity!

  4. So, is this just a new mobile app and TP8i remains the same bloated and clunky software it’s always been, of is the core program moving to a cleaner true cloud service, cross-browser compatible, more intuitive interface, etc?

This mobile app is the start of a full switch over to HTML5! The mobile app will be the new Top Producer in time. They allotted a ton of man power and resources over to this platform to continue the innovation at a quick pace.

Wow! I really like this new version. Finally I can access TP from my IPhone or IPad without going through the clunky interface and everything is Real Time! Great job and keep bdRinging the updates!!!

  7. I have not used this much yet, but of what I have seen so far, I really like it. Glad to hear also that this is the future version of the desktop product, as I disliked the version 8 interface so much, I remained with version 7. I also really like it that now I can access TP from BOTH my iphone and ipad :) Keep up the good work.

Steve, can you tell me if there is a solution for the desktop version to work on Safari?( do not want to use parallel/VM/Boot) in other words, with the email editor software? If so, is there a timeframe? I heard a year and a half ago that it would be Safari compliant… Still hearing 6 months plus from sales reps….thank you for your repky, and helping create a pretty cool product!

Now if only I could integrate the chat program https://www.zopim.com from my website hosted by realwebsolutions into TP.

  10. Chris says:

Thank you for another informative video :) !

  11. Great video. Thinking of using this product and wondering if you have to have been running TP to use the web version?

  12. Todd says:

    Steve,

You mentioned that this would be accessible on the MAC in the video. Do you have an estimate on the timing?

  13. Steve Pacinelli says:

The new mobile app is the Top Producer of the future. In other words, the mobile app works on a Mac right now but doesn’t have all the features of 8i…yet. No set time frame because it’s a gradual change.

I am a broker that wants information at my finger tips in office and on the go. Play with Access and a few other programs. Thought about T/P for a long time and I took the leap last week. Trying to figure it out on my own was slow, joined a on line class and it all fell into place for me and once you get your feet wet and know a few key rules it all goes great. I would recommend this to any one that wants a lot of info on buyers and sellers and to be able to search for data about them. I read here and there to complicated , well know not if you stop and think what it is doing for you. Take the time and watch the video and you will be happy. It does what I want to on the I pad almost but most of my work is done from a pc and out in the field it works fine until I get back to the desktop

  15. I can’t find information about sync with Outlook on my mobile phone and Top Producer (TP). Tech support at TP said they were not trained on Outlook and couldn’t answer my question. I purchased the Samsung Galaxy III and I need to know:
    1. Do I need Outlook on my phone to sync contacts with outlook?
    2. Does sync mean my phone contacts will have all my TP contacts?
    3. How many contacts can I sync with the 16G memory phone and the 16G card installed?

What do you think?
