Creative Real Estate Marketing Videos
As more agents are getting comfortable utilizing video in their day to day marketing, you know it would only be a matter of time before creativity shoves the boring home tour right out the door!
There are a lot of wonderfully creative videos popping up and I wanted to share some of the recent ones I stumbled across with you. Please leave your favorite/creative/interesting videos in the comment section below. Let’s see how agents are pushing the limits using video!
Lets start off with Richard Silver’s community videos. Before consumers start looking for houses they need to find a community first. Richard is capturing them early with these absolutely amazing community tours that have 1000′s of views. Love it.
Check out the rest of the tours on his website, which is also sweet btw, www.torontotism.com.
Halstead Property – Tours, Bios, Market Reports
I know this isn’t an individual agent, but Halstead Property is taking video to the next level by incorporating it into every facet of their marketing from agent bios to market reports!
Here is one example of an agent bio that they are promoting on their website. Click the link below see their innovative Halstead ProperTV site…creative name huh?
Check out their full website here at Halstead ProperTV.
I want to thank Jeff Mix for being the spark to this post. He sent me the email you see below with a really creative storyline for a home tour. My guess is some
of you will love it and others might not; I happen to fall into the first camp. He is pushing boundaries and doing something different. He is getting incredible exposure for this home and that’s what it is all about. The video has over 1,300 views. Here is Jeff’s email…
Steve, I wanted to send you a link to my newest video tour since you’ve been pushing the importance of video. I wrote a pretty funny script from a joke we had made as to why a home wasn’t selling at 500k was because there is no pool. Please check it out and share if you thinks its good. Thanks again for all of the stuff you put out. Thanks. Jeff Mix
You rock Jeff!
Finally, if you want to see amazingly well done videos…all you have to do is visit Platinum HD’s YouTube page. Unreal. Their videos are some of the best looking, well produced, interesting, amazing videos I have come across. Go check them out.
Again, please post some of your favorite videos below in the comment section, so we can see the creative minds working in our industry.

I think that these videos are GREAT! It gives us many ideas so that we can make ours stand out. I love using videos. This makes me want to raise the bar with my videos.
Great job on these videos!!
Very creative video for the house with no pool!
Love your blog post. Enjoyed watching these very creative videos. Thanks Steve.
I love video and these are all examples of how creative it is as a platform. If you can find a good videographer that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg… Keep them around! Full HD videos set you apart.
I have a real estate profile video for myself and can’t tell you how many positive comments I’ve had from other realtors and clients. A great way for them to pass you along as a referral to others.

Love the no pool video! Great idea using the community backdrop in the Rosedale video. Love that idea.
How’s this for a property video based in Hawaii?

The videos look simple but well made. I particularly like how the 2nd video built the character of Barbara for their company. This is a good way to introduce people in your business.

I had tried a couple videos with me being “interviewed” and it felt stiff… so we went with some fun factor!

What a great promo video Paige!
Over 700 videos for local community, the property listings in Maine that work so well with the show and tell. Videos put it all together. Images are just pieces of the puzzle needed the full motion, the natural audio captured to breath life into them. Slider show slice and dice with Kenny G background bed music is not a video. Just saying.
Great idea on creating video..It seems that you have several years, experience in the real estate sector. In which their is a funny factor on it. That is the best way how to introduce business.

Thanks for the shout out. We have opened our doors in the US and are starting to crank out videos here in New York. We are looking for ambitious agents that are looking to be a little different. We are servicing any location that has a vision and wants to do great real estate video. We are currently looking at working with brokers and agents in Miami, LA. Vegas and Chicago.
Emotion drives sales. Get on board
Great article. I really must set some time aside to get my own videos started. I am considering doing a video for each of the major condo developments in the Salt Lake area. I just need to find the time.
Here is an example of various videos I did for a home I just listed in Pagosa Springs, CO. Not only did I use a walk thru video of the home (nothing great there), but I use a variety of “driving to and from the home videos” along with a “what a child would see while spinning around on the property.” Enjoy: http://allthingspagosa.com/gorgeous-country-home-on-3-3-wooded-acres/
I love the production values in Richard Silver’s Rosedale community video – it’s really quite impressive. I wonder if that’s something an individual realtor with his trusty camcorder can do, or if it is a mini-Hollywood production involving a team of industry professionals…
These videos are great, I especially like the Lake Las Vegas one because it’s humorous. It blows my mind when I think of everything a Realtor has to do these days, blog, make professional looking videos, tweet, FB, tumble, manage your website, list and sell real estate and more…
Wow! I came across this page because I’m just getting started with video. I want to do an agent video and some community type videos as I did here: http://www.yourorlando.com/realestate/orlando/downtown
I know I have a long way to go and a lot to learn. What camera are you all using? I’m looking at the Canon 5d mark III. I just bought Adobe Premiere to improve my editing. Any advice or guidance will be appreciated.
We’ve gotten a chance to have some fun with videos for our clients too. We’ve created lip dub videos, neighborhood tours, weather time lapses, culture videos, real estate interviews (Including NAR President Moe Veissi) and our most popular product…actually steadi-cam video tours of homes. Check us out at http://www.amouraproductionsrealestate.com We love feedback!
Any suggestions about software to use by amateurs like us?
