Social Media on Autopilot?
Is it possible to put your social media efforts on autopilot and still reap all of the benefits of a solid campaign?
No, that’s crazy talk!
However, it’s possible to get some assistance and automate some of the mundane tasks you know you should be doing, but simply don’t have the time to complete in your daily schedule. These are the types of tasks that can help elevate your website in the search rankings and create a larger footprint on the web.
That’s where YourFEED comes into play. In my head I wrote this company off as a sham when I first heard about their “social media on autopilot” campaign. I began talking with one of the representatives for a few moments and was quietly laughing about the thought of giving someone “automated” control over my social networks. To be honest I wasn’t giving them a chance because I wasn’t looking at their system from the right perspective.
The YourFEED service is primarily designed to save time by providing a slick backend product which will help you post more content and build a large network of backlinks to your website, which is a primary factor in your search engine rankings. Here is a fantastic article to help you understand backlinks if you are unsure of their purpose.
YourFEED will get you up and running on 9 different social networks, including media outlets like Picasa, Flikr and YouTube. If you don’t already have the accounts they will setup and optimize each one for you. Then they post to these accounts every day with 100% unique content for each end every entry; watch the interview video to hear how they do this. These entries should be in addition to your own posts which combined together I do believe can help you create a stronger online presence. They have created a pretty unique backend system to help keep all of your networks up to date from a single location too.
Because this system is so controversial, I have created three separate videos to try and give you guys as much detail as possible about YourFEED. The first video is my interview with them at the KW Family Reunion. The second is a look into the backend and an interview with one of their 600 customers and the third is just me with some final thoughts about their offering.
Of course Tech Savvy Agent had to hook up our readers with a discount! $249 setup reduced to $149 and a free first month valued at $49.95 a month. Make sure you use the code “Savvy Agent”

I recently spoke with someone from my area that is a rep for a similar company that I turned down. However, the reason I turned down was the lack of unique content vs. all other Realtors in the area that are using her service. Of course her reply was that we all have different data bases. I found that to be a weak argument considering I am linked with countless others of my profession within the same area. I would hate to have the same posts as 5+ more other Realtors at the same time. I may have to check this out! Thanks! Ryan
I have an email & call into them to determine:
1) Is it compatible with our MLS in So Cal
2) Does it pull pictures of all listings in my area or only my personal listings.
Very intriguing product!
I plan to start first of March
I want to leave a review of the YourFEED product, as it was this article that compelled me to try it.
I’ll begin by saying everyone at YourFEED was top notch and professional beginning with my salesman, David Siebert. The YourFEED product is really a sales funnel for the company’s own IDX solution. Being that I had no intention of replacing my current IDX, I continued implementation without it. This was the cause of a few problems, primarily it removed the ability to fully “automate” the social marketing.
It should also be know that, unless you integrate YourFEED with their IDX, all the link backs will be to your home page diluting the real SEO value. In addition, if you aren’t utilizing their IDX, you have to manually export your broker’s listings via CSV file and have the programmers at YourFEED upload. This is were you’ll want to pay attention.
Once I had them upload my first batch of listings, it appeared we were off and running. I was told by Bonita, an account manager that I’d need to perform that same manual process on a monthly basis so YourFEED had new listing information to send out. Hmmm, what happened to the automation that was promised?
Next I was contacted by one of their techs asking me for the URL’s to each picture for every listing. So he wanted me to copy and past at least 3 pictures from 21 listings into an Excel doc and resend? The link back numbers that they sell you on are great, except when then work against you as illustrated by this process. In closing, I’d ONLY recommend this product if you are going to integrate with their IDX. Otherwise it’s a waste of time and money.
Thanks for the post Nat! I appreciate the insight you gave on the product as it was brand new to me. Now we need to find someone that uses their IDX to hear how they are progressing with it.
What is the effectiveness rate of this? I want to make sure that its worth exerting effort.
