Top 3 Facebook Apps for Real Estate Business Pages
It’s a quiet day on the social networking front, what with it being the 4th of July weekend, but that won’t sway us from giving you another Thank God It’s Facebook Friday (TGIFF) tip!
We hear from many of you that you just want bite sized pieces of information, that is more manageable to attain and put to use. So we thought a Top 3 (versus a Top 10, for sample) would be a good way to end the week and begin the holiday weekend…
1. Google Analytics to Facebook
Adding analytics (a free tool provided by Google) to your Facebook Fan Page(s) makes so much sense it hurts! We added our analytics to our Facebook Fan Page some months ago and cannot tell you how much of a difference it has made to our efforts and knowledge base of what makes our fans ‘tick’. Adding analytics to your real estate facebook fan page(s) can be done really easily and will provide you with some great ROI too. And we all know that your time is the investment when it comes to Facebook (and any social networking site for that matter) and time IS money! And we also know that millions of people are also spending their TIME on Facebook too – so adding this application is truly a no-brainer. You can read our step-by-step buide on how to do this here too: Adding Google Analytics to Facebook.
2. Social Network Integration
Having a puzzle with the pieces strewn all over the floor is no pretty picture, but when those pieces are put together, the picture is complete and the end result is uniform; the same can be said for social networking. You may have a blog on wordpress and activerain, and profiles with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN, Plaxo, ActiveRain, etc., but if they are not uniform and integrated together it’s just a big, ugly mess.
Enter NetworkedBlogs. This facebook fan page application is one way (and our preferred way) to bring the pieces together. The Networkedblogs application is a simple application to add to both your fan page(s) and your blog(s) and takes about 5 minutes, but will save you having to manually add your new blog posts to multiple locations.
The great thing about this is that Facebook also allows for integration with Twitter and other social networks, so once you have your blogs automatically updating to your fan pages, the other social sites will follow suit. What a pretty picture that is!
3. Youtube for Pages
If you don’t have video as a major part of your online marketing content then you are really going to be suffering from being left behind in the coming months and year. You’ve probably noticed that video is a huge part of our blog and social networking endeavors and we can vouch for just how much of a difference they really do make.
So with that said, adding your videos to your fan page(s) is another given in making your online marketing stand out from the crowd. Youtube for Pages (by Involver) is by far the best application out there. Simply go to their website www.involver.com and sign up for a free account, where you can then add the Youtube for Pages, and one other free application (such as Twitter, Flickr or File Sharing). Within a few minutes you will have added your videos in a professional new tab on your Facebook Fan Page.
Like I said, we hear that you prefer bite-sized pieces of information, so that’s our top 3 apps for real estate fan pages – we know there’s lots more to include – so, what are yours?
