4,000 Facebook Fans for a Real Estate Technology Page?
We work with thousands of real estate agents that are all excited about technology, social media, Facebook fan pages and the opportunity that it brings to grow their business. Many are doing it right, but most are looking for help and ideas. I wanted to thank you all for helping us reach 4,000 Facebook fans and for a real estate technology page in an industry that typically has been behind the curve with technology, that’s no small feat! Enjoy and here’s to the next 1,000 fans!

I am located in the beautiful Napa Valley and work for Keller Williams out of Santa Rosa. I love the iPhone for a lot of reasons – not only for real estate. But I am thrilled at the ability to look up listings in my area on such apps as Trulia to get a good representation of what is available in a quick snapshot. I would love to add Top Producer to my iPhone with a separate contact manager from my regular friends and family. I am wondering if it will include some of the letters to send off to clients from the phone? Thanks so much,Alysha Munoz
I can’t believe that the logic in this video is that: “if you can’t build a following on your facebook fanpage, it’s possible that real estate is not your passion.”I understand your message-i.e. a passionate person finds a way to make something successful.Truth of the matter is Facebook fan pages are easy to use, easy to create and maintain, but not easy to promote, build, develop. Too many agents make the pages about themselves and their business when they should be making the pages about the community they sell in. No one care about Angie Perez Real Estate (ok, so maybe my mom does and friends, family, previous clients) but if you want to create a dynamic facebook fan page, make it about the towns you live in. In other words, be be a “virtual neighborhood specialist.” Build a community page; get to know the town’s residents, the business owners, start fresh if necessary. . .
Sad right AP? Truth of the matter is social media exposes the real from the fake. Not that you have to be a real estate lover to be a real estate agent but how many agents do you feel percentage wise REALLY love writing and educating about their community not just their listings!

[...] Ever wonder how much your Facebook Page is really worth? There are real estate business pages popping up all over Facebook, but is there really any value in what you are spending your valuable time on? Virtue.com has an easy to use page value evaluator that instantly shows you what your page is worth from an advertising standpoint. Looks like Tech Savvy Agent has done a good job of building value with their page question is how do you fair? Leave a comment below or on our Facebook Page with what the value of your page is! If the answer is depressing then read this and try another approach. [...]
I have not been a facebook user very long, or at least took it serious very long, but once I did my fan page and started watching the Tech Savvy videos and the MLS app, I was hooked and find myself building not only my page, but my page is building me clients. Check it out Trenton Military Real Estate. I post events, news, videos, you tube and my listings. Not only am I educating my clients and audience, I am learning a lot myself. Thanks for the GREAT adventure.
