How long does it take to show up in the google search once you have registered your business?
Really should be almost instant. Can also be a factor of the keywords you used.

I tried doing this a couple of months ago but Google said the submission didn’t meet their ‘quality guidelines’ then gave a list of their requirements. One required guideline that might have put the kibosh on me was that two businesses could not be regsitered at the same address. My real estate office has already registered with Google so I guess I can’t do so.
We’re seeing a good amount of traffic driven our way due to Google Maps!
Changed some of the long tail key words, but didn’t get me the ranking instantly. I will play with it, however, I have gained more organic ranking by keeping the blogging fresh and current on a daily/weekly basis. This too, shall get me some eyeballs.
