Earth Hour – Let’s All Turn Everything Off!
This is a cool cause I found and thought you guys would appreciate called Earth Hour.
There is basically a turn everything off hour coming up in 8 days and as someone who loves technology and social media more than most I think it makes a ton of sense for us to participate as a community. Think how many others we can help reach using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and share tools, informing them about this really amazing cause! For as much energy as we consume it isn’t much to ask. They have a tech savvy website and also offer text alert reminders, countdown widgets for your site, celebrity PSA’s with video embed codes and more. Don’t we REALLY need to turn it alll off once in a while anyways(my wife says yes as I type)? Earth Hour is definitely a Tech Savvy Idea! Leave a comment below if you sign up!

yes, let’s get off the grid for an hour. then let’s do it two hours next year and keep the technology going to find renewable alternatives!
