Zillow, Zilow, Zillo? – Sara Bonert explains

Many agents misunderstand the way to leverage Zillow as a resource to gain new business.  In fact, we looked through Google and found that many agents are even searching for Zillow and spelling it Zilow, Zillo, etc…We went right to the source and had Sara Bonert from Zillow explain 3 quick tips on maximizing their massive amounts of web traffic to help your bottom line.  Chris interviews Sara as Steve films live from the Keller Williams Family Reunion show at the Zillow booth!   1. Thanks for the insights into marketing on Zillow!  We already had a “tricked out” profile on Zillow… but after listening to Sara’s tips… went in and added some additional “anchor text links.”  Thanks again for the information….

    Interesting thing about Zillow is that while I was Director of Online Marketing at a Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate, Zillow was #3 for traffic (and not even very close to #2) but was #2 for leads generated.

    I am not sure if I ever understood why our lead conversion was higher with Zillow vs. the other major syndication sites.

    I think Zillow is great. I just ratified a contract over the weekend for a client who found me on Zillow … and working with 2 others.
